Evolution Becomes First Live Casino Provider in Colombia

Evolution continues to grow its footprint globally. The company has announced the launch of its rich live casino games portfolio in the newly regulated Colombian online gambling market.

After several recent new deals, the company now becomes the first live dealer provider in Colombia.

Evolution is the first live casino supplier to offer a comprehensive suite of 52 games that includes popular classic casino games such as poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, famous gameshows, and Spanish-speaking tables.

All the games and famous live dealer titles will be available to players at Zamba.co, a locally licensed online casino.

Zamba is a joint venture between Vicca Group and GAMING1, a Belgian online casino platform provider. It was licensed to operate in Colombia in 2017 after the country regulated its online gambling market.

Recent Expansions

In October 2020, Evolution partnered with William Hill US and Wynn Sports Interactive to extend its reach in the US.

The agreement with William Hill enables Evolution to stream live from its Atlantic City studio and provide live dealer content across the States, starting with New Jersey. Previously Evolution partnered with PointsBet and BetMGM.

Finally, in mid-October 2020, Evolution signed an agreement with Wynn Sports Interactive to provide live dealer content initially in New Jersey with more states to follow.

Commenting on the New Partnership

Rodrigo Afanador, the CEO of Vicca Group, said the new rules regulating online gaming in Colombia allowed them to be ideally positioned to lead the way in online services while leveraging the strong land-based casino presence.

He also said that partnership with Evolution enabled Zamba to diversify and enhance the offer with world-class live casino games. This should help Zamba establish itself as the online casino leader in the Colombian market.

Johan Nordstrom from Evolution stated how delighted Evolution was to partner with Zamba and become the first live casino supplier in Colombia. Furthermore, he said they were looking forward to releasing their games with more operators over the coming months.
