Reach New Heights in Crystal Towers

While playing it safe is an option for some developers, Big Time Gaming firmly rejects such efforts. Instead, they’re constantly trying new things, hoping to catch the lightning in the bottle that was Megaways for the second time. While we don’t think Crystal Towers will be that, it still delivers a unique, top-notch experience we want to highlight.
Join us as we explore what this new release offers. We’ll go over how its four-sided reels work, available features, RTP, and more.
What’s Hidden Above the Clouds?
From the moment you first launch this game, you can tell this is something different. Instead of a single reel, you are faced with a cube, with each side comprising colourful blocks. Big Time Gaming worked hard to create a 3D effect, which is especially visible when you move your cursor to spin the cube. The backdrop slightly shifts left or right, creating the illusion the world stretches all around you. Unfortunately, you cannot freely move the camera to see the cube from all sides.
The blocks the cube is made out of aren’t just for show. These are its symbols, each featuring a different colour. Some have additional decorations, such as star shapes or crisscrossing lines, to signify they’re more valuable. Even bonus icons stick to blocks, though they’re easily distinguished. Regular Wilds have a large W present on them, while Trigger Wilds appear as golden blocks with stars on each side.
Climb the Crystal Tower
The game starts you off with a five-row high tower with 80 symbols. Winning clusters can form on each side and connect around multiple sides of the tower. As such, you’re effectively playing on four 5×5 grids stitched together, creating many opportunities for wins. You’ll need each one, as the game has a high-to-extreme volatility. Its RTP is 96.36%, which is above average for video slots.
Every win causes participating icons to disappear while the remaining symbols collapse downwards. New ones appear from the top, allowing multiple wins at the cost of one spin.
Along with regular Wilds, there are also Trigger and Multiplier Wilds. The latter increases the prize you get when they participate in a winning combination. Meanwhile, Trigger Wilds awards 10 free spins when they’re part of a win.
Free spins start with a six-row high tower, which grows in size as the spins are played. Eventually, it reaches its maximum height of 10 rows and 160 blocks. You also benefit from up to ten Wilds landing in random positions, increasing your odds of winning.
